Thank you to every one of you that so generously donated clothing items for Halee. Your generosity and willingness to give will help Halee on her road to recovery, in which we wish her the best and hope she has a speedy and successful recovery.
Halee is home and was overwhelmed and very appreciative by the love and support that she received through your generous donations. A close friend of the families provided us with an update as she recently visited with Halee. She said she is pleasantly surprised with how well she seemed to be doing. She told us she seems to be in good spirits and her pain seemed to be controlled. The doctors still expect her to make a full recovery, although it may take up to a year before she is back to her self again. They are in hopes that she will not need skin graphs, however there are a few places on her body that may require it. I think that I can speak for the entire i have. i give. team and all of it's supporters when I say that we hope for the best for Halee.
Halee is very hopeful of going back to work in October, as she currently works at a restaurant downtown! Go get em' Halee and good luck in the coming months!
Again thank you to all of you who donated clothing items for Halee, keep her and her family in your thoughts as the days ahead may be challenging. May Halee's story be a reminder to us all that life is fragile so handle with care.
