Shopping for a Good Cause: Preventing Women's Ovarian Cancer

On November 6th, i have. i give. hosted a jewelry party to help raise awareness and money for COCA (Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance), with the help of Jessica Jacobsen, with Premier Designs Jewelry and a group of generous attendees we were able to raise $500 dollars to help continue the fight against ovarian cancer. Ovarian Cancer is the 5th leading cause of cancer death for women as 15,000 American women die from ovarian cancer annually. i have. i give. supporter Kaitlyn Herbert was kind enough to speak at this event about symptoms of ovarian cancer and how it can affect your body. Kaitlyn knows first hand the saddening effects of this gynecologic cancer as her mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and is still fighting the uphill battle. Kaitlyn hopes to become more involved with i have. i give. and contribute ways to raise awareness about "the silent killer".   For more information regarding COCA and ovarian cancer visit www.colo-ovariancancer.org. Thank you again to all the wonderful people that supported i have. i give. and shopping for a good cause.

Thank you to all the ladies who attended Sarah Kramer, Jessic Dawkins, Ashley Thomas, Kaitlyn Herbert, Kimber Denny, Jessica Jacobsen, Andrea Bucci, Katie Bond, Jen Taussig, Laura Wilkins (Contributers not pictured: LouAnne Thomas, Shonya Wilmes-Petrelli, Deb Dawkins, Lisa Bucci, Georganne Jaques, and Earl Marshall)
